JLUIS
With more than 15 years of surf instruction under his belt (and probably a little sand in his pockets), he's taught everyone from terrified first-timers to overconfident weekend warriors how to ride waves without wiping out their dignity. Before launching Surf Break Costa Rica, JLuis was a Lead Instructor at the iconic Witch's Rock Surf Camp, where he became known for his patience, ocean smarts, and uncanny ability to spot a good wave before it even forms. These days, he's all about sharing that local knowledge, building confidence in the water, and reminding people that yes—you can laugh when you fall.
KATH
Kath is used to wearing many hats and her role at Surf Break Costa Rica is no different. As Operations Manager, Kath works to keep the business afloat (pun intended!) She also serves as the team's resident Photographer and Videographer, capturing all the stoke and smiles in the water. When she's not behind the lens, you can find her in the lineup at Playa Grande or exploring Costa Rica's hidden gems with her family.
JULLIAN
Jullian might be the youngest member of the Surf Break crew, but he's been part of the team since day one. Now 13, he brings sharp wit, good vibes, and a quiet confidence that keeps everyone on their toes. Future CEO? Don't bet against him.
