JLUIS
Don’t let his wild hair fool you.
Jluis is the cool, calm and
collected guy you want by your
side when a 10-foot wave is 2
seconds away from mauling
you. Speaking of 10, that’s how
many years of experience he
had as one of the Lead
Instructors at Witch’s Rock Surf
Camp. During his tenure at
Witch’s Rock, Jluis developed
expertise in everything that is
surf, specializing in areas such
as water safety, surf science and
paddling, to name a few. Jluis is
lifeguard certified and offers
beginner, intermediate and
advanced lessons to both adults
and children. Needless to say,
Jluis is a popular dude so we
wouldn’t blame you for booking
a lesson with him just to be his
friend.
KATH
Kath is used to wearing many hats and her role at Surf Break Costa Rica is no different. As Operations Manager, Kath works to keep the business afloat (pun intended!) She also serves as the team's resident Photographer and Videographer. Check out @surfbreakcostarica on Instagram for some of her amazing shots. In her spare time, Kath likes to workout...on the beach, in the gym and everywhere in between. As if she wasn’t already cool enough, she learned to surf on a short board!
JULLIAN
Jullian is the current Chief Play Officer at Surf Break Costa Rica its future CEO. As the youngest member of the squad, 10-year-old Jullian keeps spirits high and is the reason the team goes to work every day. Jullian has a passion for all things tech. In his spare time, you might find him building worlds in Minecraft or bouncing in the backyard. Oh, and did we mention how great his English is? He’s currently enrolled in La Paz primary school, where many of his classes are taught in English.
